Front Page Music Player

While the flash player on the artist pages works as well as usual,
I have found today that when I try to use the player on the front
page, it starts streaming the music, but there is no audio, even
though the volume is at max.
Just thought I would mention it.

Playing around with it some more, I found that it starts playing the
audio if I click it off, and then on again, a second time, using the big
play icon above it.
At least I found out how to get it to play. : )

i usually never stream from the homepage player, just gave it a go, and it worked just fine
what browser are you using?
try signing out and back in again. Are you signing in from multiple computers? If so, it helps if you sign out, the site only allows your account to be signed with one computer or browser at a time.

The only time I've seen this is when I'm testing what happens when people are signed into the site with one browser/computer, and then sign in with a different computer, then go back to the first without signing out anywhere.

the flash player is designed for larger icons than what we use, and I don't have a means to edit and re-generate the flash player. Have no fear... it will be replaced by the end of 1st quarter this year. The new solution will function much better, will work w/ or w/o flash, the output is pure xHTML, so the content can be seen by search engines. Once I have a prototype together, or more info, I'll post about it.
