I'm going on another big road trip next week! This time, I'm taking my awesome girlfriend, Jenny. I'll be in Toronto for 2 days, Montreal for 3, and then Toronto again for 1 day. I'll be attending the Montreal Blender Conference when I'm up there.
Anyone in the area want to do a meet-up or something? Anyone got any events worth recommending?

Damn.... no can do my friend.
But... what days will you be in Toronto?
I can check with a few peeps to see what's coming up as far as shows, etc if you'd like....

yeah, could you check on any good shows?
I'll be in Toronto Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Montreal: Saturday & Sunday.
Also, I got a DC power inverter for my car so I can run my electribe while my girlfriend is driving.

OK... according to my "sources" (such that they are) you've picked a rather slow week to visit Toronto. Unless you're into theatre or Jazz (or even sports) type stuff there isn't much going on. One thing that keeps coming up in conversation is that you should pick up a copy of "NOW" magazine while you're there. It comes out on Thursday (I think) and it seems to be the best resource for entertainment listings, reviews and articles about what's going on around town. You can pick up a copy at just about any coffee shop, book store, magazine stand, etc.... around town. It's everywhere and it's FREE.
