I play it all the time. What games do you play online, out of curiosity?

a single keystroke... and you can jump from 1st to 3rd person perspective in UT
soldat looks hilarious - the players seem to float about a lot, seems more like you are guiding the player as opposed to controlling it.
I'm not much of a gamer - but I do have UT2004 on my PC - and the UT3 demo... but my system isn't powerful enough to run the demo well It plays poorly and looks bad. I'm trying to figure out if it's time to upgrade to a new PC.
I'm actually more interested in game design - and will be working on a something you could call a music jamming game/instrument/environment once I get a new PC and UT3.

Trust me, Gideon, when you've seen the UT3-demo (on a good system), you KNOW it's time to upgrade....

Yeah, UT2k4 is excellent. I'm not much good at it, but I love playing.
Soldat is also really cool. The physics is awesome in both games. Too bad I don't have a good computer right now, so I'm stuck playing online games like Adrenaline...

Soldat looks like a C64 game ......
Is it really that fun to play?
Ah well, good graphics is not the most important thing of a game....

Oh yeah, I found Soldat at least as fun as UT2k4. It's 2D, but it has the feel of a 3D FPS.

soldat is quite addictive.. except when you jump into a room filled with experienced player & just get blown to pieces every 10 seconds or so. fortunately that isn't always the case

My opinion, Soldat's like a 4 out of ten when it comes to Unreal. You lose the whole snipe headshot thing and I just need that.
Nox is a game I play on and off: http://www.noxforum.net/index.php?topic=3160.0
The whole .exe file for free now- click on the "nox install.zip" link and there's a great game you'll be glad you d-loaded.
Very fun real time strategy- plus it comes with a great campaign and you get lost in the enormous maps it presents.
Quote:Nox is a game of savage combat and sneaky tactics set in a mystical land filled with discovery and deceit. Nox's lightning-fast action is fueled by a combat system that's easy to use yet gives players tremendous gameplay depth and infinite possibilities. With more than 100 unique spells and weapons, players must use their wits to create devious combinations and tricky tactics.

This one's pretty friggin tight, while it lasts. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/bloxorz
There are others on that site too. Most are kind of silly and basic. There's even that dreaded "crimson room" game.
Plus, I played the "word twist" yahoo game for a few days a couple weeks ago. Now I'm kind of bored of it.
This site is kind of fun, if you're a word nut (like me): http://www.freerice.com
