Quote:Obliminal makes me feel like I've wandered into a land where my perception of motion slows down, and all the characters have over-sized heads and limbs made of clay. It's a cheery, welcoming place though I'm always aware that something truely evil may come hurt or eat me.
I have always gotten a big kick out of that quote. So here's an example of what Doof's talking about
FOOLISH http://www.artistserver.com/m1/639/571/media/20272.mp3
This one has hit the editing room floor so to speak - but it contains one of the funniest bad sounds I have ever committed to disk. Viva VL-Tone!

Thanks guys - but don't hold your breath for longer songs from Obliminal, our motto is always leave them wanting more.
The song kinda runs around like a chicken with its head cut off, which is why it was moved to our deactivated player list.

cool man, thanks for sharing!
had a few listens this morning. I especially like the synth sound/line at 1:42, and what all happens around that. a fitting climax after being chased by whatever it was that you set loose on us...

Thanks Doof - I have been meaning to post this song ever since I first read your Obliminal comment. With that synth sound that you mentioned, you can actually hear me regaining my composure after the shock of the sound that burst out. (me playing VL-Tone, Andrew turning evil stomp box knobs)
Obliminal is currently on one of our hiatuses because Andrew is currently working with Akron/Family on their next record. And then there is the specture of the next Ween record hovering out there also.
The good news is you will be hearing new P9FM Metasynth tracks very soon
