Hello folks - been a studio ferret recently so thought I would share the stuff with you:
Find You (Warning: me vocals) lol Megastructure (not quite finished yet) Chill Invasion inthacity (not quite finished yet - don't know where to take it ) Blood Bath Santiago (probably my favourite - ie if you listen to no other.....)

I love summer - its always the time music seems to flow. Us brits need to get the sunshine in when its around and I seem to spend all my time in the studio! Pale boy needs a white smilie.
I've also had some good news recently - I got a deal of 12 of my tracks to appear on the Carlin Music Library label - a funk break beats double album which I also had to compile too out of about 30 of my tracks and about the same amount from a guy called Charlie Tate who is half of King Kooba (om records) who are based in San Francisco. The last two on the list are on the comp.
Music licensing truly is the best way of making money for the independent artist. Whatever happened to Raw 42? Did that take off? Naturally please post anything you've done so I can take a listen.

Quality stuff mate
Raw 42 died a a few years back - I think Ian basically decided it wasn't a viable business venture.

Thanks - Bedtime Story is now in the rotation and sounding good.
LCA - thanks man. Your the first person to like The Tomorrow People.
Alexander. Yeah sure - I know Hot Chip. I really like the video they did. I think to be honest our voices are similar in the respect that neither of us can sing very well....
If you are interested here are a couple of more I sang on over the years:
Be Lucy (P9FM Remix) Sunshine I am a River Only You and Me
I did a couple more over the weekend too:
Tow The Line (Nick Drake Remix) The Other Side (Crunchy Old School Trip-Hop)

Hi Danny, to be honest...I checked the EQ of iTunes, because this sounds horrible, but apparently it's the track itself: very harsh on the high sounds, not a pleasure to listen to....

I downloaded these tracks, and some wicked stuff in this batch.
Chill Invasion Slick as a big thing in a world of slickness, liking the opening chord sample, and the vibe is very loose and chilled...as the title suggests. Its a simple track, I'd agree connotes summer...probably early to late evening, the sun is low in the sky, and the Horizon is red. Nice use of samples, the flutes is particularly effective.
Find You Your vocals are very cool, very gravelly and moody Liking the low resonant bass noise, sounds angry, also liking the percussive guitar thing underpinning the beat. Not sure about the section after the break down, not keen on the saw tooth noise...this track could go a lot further IMHO, and as you suggest some of these aren't finished. This is a strong one though, the main hook and vocal are really strong...liking that a lot, your voice sounds wicked! The track needs an additional element to compliment that.
Megastructure Nicely done dark mood, interesting pad samples and another nice loose groovey beat. Again a really cool ideas track, its sort of like a sketch arrangement, but working very nicely. Needs finishing

Santiago Wicked beat...very cinematic feel in those chords and bass. Its the bag guy entrance theme This probably is the most accomplished of all of them, my fav is the first one though All immaculate production, and sounding great.
Cheers, Pete

Cheers man - from you that means a lot. Find You is a tough one actually - I started it over a year ago and agree that it could go quite lot more....just not sure how to take it though. Maybe some guitars? I'm afraid my girlfriend won't let me take the lead noise off because its her favourite bit!
Megastructure is another tricky one but definately something I am going to try and expand - probably with more vocals. Thanks a lot for taking a listen. Really digging NH17 - got it on my iphone and can't see it going anywhere soon!! I was listening to it on the train with the city whizzing by....really seemed to suit it nicely.

I'm really glad you like megastructure by the way - no one else I've played it too particularly cares for it.
I like its post-apocalyptic vibe though....Do you know an album by Peter Gabriel called So? There are some tracks at the end of that called "This is the Picture" and "We do what we're told" - I'm going to try and make it sound a bit like those.
Also - just in case Wintermute reads this - thank you very much for your kind review of The Other Side.

new tracks? great...
"megastructure" ok this i like. this is the best of the batch. the subtle rhythm change and the woman's grunt (or whatever that is) at :58 are dope. gets a bit repetitive towards the end, but i suppose that's probably why you say, "not quite finished yet." i'll be listening to this again.
"chill invasion" 1:37 break! nice one.
"blood bath" like this one too. cool drums and the string swells work really well. 0:54-nice transition. def keeper!
"find you" hmmm, i have to admit, i'm not digging this one too much. you probably could have anticipated that though right?
i'll keep listening... thanks for updates.
