new music video, not electronic at all though.

It's that R&B video I mentioned a while back. Well, now it's done and it's online. This video is going to be really popular (it's already had 200+ views on myspace on its first day) and we're trying to get it on national TV.
The video was directed by my boss, Troy D. Shaw. It was shot in October with a 5 person crew who split the responsibilities up pretty evenly. I did almost all of the post-production on this video, which was almost all of the editing & logging, color correction, and whatever. The news reporter sequence was done in Blender.
I'm not sure how popular this will be here, but it's worth a look. The production values look like they are way higher than my usual video, although it still was a pretty cheap video.

well, not something I'd normally listen to, but... didn't you shed blood over this during the shoot? anyway, looked good. I thought the editing of the shots to the music and rhythms was particularly well done - good hits but not at the expense of an overall flow.

congrats on completing the vid man! hope this opens many more doors for you. very exciting!
However, that song is awful. I don't know how you could listen to it over and over and over. It was good fashion-sense for the singer to wear camo in the woods though. I thought that was pretty realistic

Video looks good, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it...sorry....
I agree with Doof....and I'd love to see and hear something more original than this...

K I watched it! Now- I do believe that this is an excellent video for modern time.  The guy had a good voice- the climax and most intense part of the song wasn't 'as' intense I've seen if you guys were going for the MTV angles. The angles definantly remind me of MTV, I just never really liked to watch MTV too long because my bro was glued to it 10 years ago and I would have to fight him to get him to change the channel...
It was really good in a 'young, cool/tool black dude' way I guess you would say.
I laughed a little when he pokes her in the chest throughout the video.
You just don't touch the girl like that when she's mad... But, she wanted him... 
I did like the beat- it's more of a "young guy" thing I can assure you all. Sometimes it's all about being 'in the groove' besides observing it I guess. Other than that, I fail to bring what else comes out of it all; because I'm a white dude & all I guess. Great video knell! And great work getting that 'knello' angle through the trees with the sun reflections...
