or, if you are posting about these things in your blog, people can subscribe to your blog.
There's a feed for your music too - so if someone is into an artist, and uses an RSS reader, they can subscribe to your music feed. Then the next time the person opens their RSS reader, they'll get notified about any new songs since the last time they opened their reader.
Both Firefox and IE7 support RSS feeds, but not the best way to consume RSS.

Hmmm, so what is the actual difference between these two?

I just haven't got a clue what I can an can't do with RSS...I never used it myself, so maybe I'm not missing anything...
