ha - no! Just the one boy. We were watching him move around this morning. He shifted a bit, then suddenly his head pops up.

Man, the pups weren't the only one who was bummed when Kylo left... We had such a nice time with you! Thanks for prolonging your visit with us, for playing so much with the dogs, and for helping us move furniture for the future nursery. You're the best!
You really have the most amazing, mellow and lovely energy, you are welcome here ANY TIME! Maybe the next visit will be up on your turf, we would really like that.
Right now the pups are barking "Come back, Uncle Kylo!" and we feel the same way. Glad you made it back home safely!
BTW Sub...NO! Not twins! Geez!

I'm glad you enjoyed the jam, we had such fun making it!
Again, Kylo, you are welcome here ANYTIME! You are a truly incredible person and I enjoyed having you in our home.
And Sub, please thank Layla for writing to me. I tried to respond to one of the email addresses she gave me but I never heard back from her. I think I got the address wrong. It's been rough only having half a brain these last few months...

That's an awesome picture, but I just have one question. Why are you all wearing so much clothing? You look like a trio of Canucks. You're in San Diego for cripes sake. Shouldn't you be wearing shorts and t-shirts...!?!?!

I'll have you know that it got down to a chilly 56 (degrees F) that night! I almost got goose-bumps! Actually, Kylo was in shorts and a t-shirt, but he wanted to show us his awesome sweatshirt and that is what he still had on when he decided to take a group photo. I got a few pics too...but you know me..."Oh yeah, I'll post them later!" So don't hold your breath!
Today the sky is clear and it's got to be in the high 70's outside. Not winter weather at all!

Damn... if it got that warm here we'd have the windows open and would be sittiing outside enjoying the nice weather.... rain or shine....

Could you box up some of that nice warm California sunshine and send it to me.... please...!!!
This morning it's -29C.

It's so cold right now that the air is freezing into lil' teeny tiny ice crystals. The crystals are so small it looks like fog. And when I went for a coffee at 5:00am the ice crystals made the street lights look like beacons of light shining up into the sky.....

Cold weather has its pros for sure. It's cleaner if you ask me, very tinted with fresh scents and vapor rich. Warm weather is still my favorite though by far- I am a T-shirt & shorts person. Just like Lou & Gid's crazy neighbor!
haha, I'm sorry I gotta throw this in:
When I was hanging out we eventually went out to the backyard and sure enough I got my inaugural sound effect/hello from the strange neighbor.
It was like "... ... eeeh.... ... uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh!!..... .... "
You couldn't see him, but he's apparently behind a window watching your every move.
It's straight out of a movie man.

Well... by this point we're pretty damn tired of the cold. I can honestly say that when you suffer through six months of frigid temps and annoying and often frustrating driving conditions, warm weather is such a welcome event there's practically no way to describe how excited we canookies get when it finally arrives. It's no small wonder that so many Canucks head to Florida during the winter months.
But... there is a silver lining to all this. Less than two months from now you'll see a lot of people up here doing the happy dance...
