Hey all new track, not the normal fare here I know, but i'd like to hear what people think. I've played most of this live, 1/2 of it was sequenced, so if things are a little off thats why, I do plan to go back and resequence.

Excellent, like mixing Beach Boys with the 90's raw saw bass sound. i like how it's not totally quantized as well, it scores well on being off as you said. Do NOT resequence, imo. Enjoy your usual happy mood..

This really, really sounds like old Psychic TV, only good.
Nice work DPG.

Thanks for replying guys!
iotec - beach boys was something i was totally going for. I (like most) love their infinite harmonies.
Subtronic - I'd never heard Psychic TV before, the stuff I'm hearing now is kinda interesting, i see the comparison, thanks for checking it.

Here's one PTV song that your song reminded me of:

to me - it has an early 60's vibe to it - nice work man - interesting piece.
drums are a bit lite sounding, but it works with the overall sound of the track.

Excellent track. I get the 60's vibe too. Like what Lou Reed would've sounded like if he'd hooked up with The Turtles instead of Andy Warhol...

I would leave it as is. Loose is good 'cause it gives a "real feel" to the mix. Tightly sequenced stuff (as in quantised) just comes off as cold, robotic and uninspired. Unless that's what you aim to achieve. Then by all means quantise away.....
