Leanne brought this lil' gadget home yesterday. Left it on my desk for me to discover. I love that about her! And I love crazy shit like this too.....

-----------------------------

That's quite the package on that hot-dog. Or should I say... that's quite the hot-dog on that package, eh?

I actually find it sorta creepy and disturbing on several levels. But that's what gives it its' appeal. I'm getting more. They'll make great stocking stuffers. It'll be hilarious.
What's super freakin' hilarious about this is that spider dogs are an ol' stand-by for when you have a picky eater at dinner time who's easily amused.
We've been making them for years by simply using a knife and slicing the ends. Thirty seconds in the MWave (look.. you can stand here and watch it curl up...) and voila... spider dogs. Hooray!!

I haven't taken it out of the package. I plan on getting another myself. One of them will be staying permanently in the package. I'll add it to the collection of other wacky crap I have spread all over the house.

Hey, Leanne buys it for me.

It's actually a pretty slick lil' gadget. Leanne confirms it really does what it's intended for despite looking like it should be used for something else. It's certainly faster (and safer) than a knife and the kids think it's wicked cool!!
It's definitely a "wish I'd thought of it" type thing.
D'oh!
And it's made in Canada.
Who'd a thunk it.....

 mmmmm....
Who the hell is the mastermind behind this?? I feel like dangling a spider-dog from a fishing line now-- preferrably as a soliciting salesmen for the product; door to door. Buy stalks in it, etc... you know the works!

I want one of these to go with my Spider Dog:

With a side order of sour cream.
And a Molson Canadian to wash it all down.
Mmmmm.......
