CONGRATS!!!!!
and... did you pick up a video card w/ DirectX10 support???
because you'll want that for UT3
I tried the demo w/ my ATI 9600 series card, which is the bottom line for the game... and it looked bad. I did see screenshots from others who had better video cards - and the game looked amazing on their systems. Just 2 more weeks!

Yeah, Gideon, you know what I bought it for! DX10, no problem.....;)
I'm ready for it!!!!!!!!
About the demo-release: don't forget this isn't the quality of the final game! They kept the texture-quality down so the download wouldn't be that big...with better textures it would have been 2gigs or something like that...

Serious things....I mean editing, off course... Can't wait until I finally get my hands on the editor....
Speaking of Unreal, I recently posted a betaversion of the last UT2K4-map I'll probably ever make:

Music of the final version will also be posted on AS......stay tuned

well... i needed more business write offs for this year, and it has been 3yrs since i upgraded my pc... so I did it, I built a new PC
dual core 2.33 w/ 4mb cache 2gb RAM PC6400 800mhz Radeon HD2600XT 512mb 550w modular PSU, new case extra fan asus mobo 500GB maxtor w/ 16mb cache XP Pro
Unfortunately, I didn't know Microsoft was USING DirectX10 as leverage to get people to buyi Vista. I bought another copy of XP Pro, set it all up, then found out the next day that Microsoft isn't going to have DX10 run on XP.
Apparently there's some other version of DX9 called DX9.L that will contain some of the DX10 features - but I can't find any info as to when that will come out.
ABC - which version of Vista are you running?
