40th Anniversary of Revolution #9

The Beatles' "White Album" was released in 1968, and I imagine it was the first top-ten-selling album to feature a track made entirely of samples.
I'm speaking, of course, of Revolution #9.
And the reason I mention it here (besides courting any opportunity to be reminded of how old I am) is that I'm wondering if anybody's ever released an official set of its component samples, for remix and such.

And apparently, if you reverse the "number nine" part, you can hear "turn me on dead man".
Which of course feeds into that whole "Paul McCartney is dead" thing. Which was friggin awesome, if you ask me.
Just my cup of tea.

More like "Trnmeon ddmn."
Not nearly as clear as a thing I did using a female synth voice saying "With a hey nonny-nonny." When I reverse it in the middle of the track, she clearly says, "Mmm Not my neck."

"At over eight minutes, it is the longest track on the album, as well as the longest Beatles track ever officially released."

Finally went and checked that link.
Now, it seems that Ian Simpson's and other email addies at that site are non-functional.
So maybe tonight, I'll track 'em down via their MySpace pages. (I know, the page itself is a re-post of a 1996 rec.music.beatles article.)
