Another new EP - 30 minute lush ambient collage

Howdy. After the great success of Treamtments a few weeks ago, my second release of the year is another netlabel download, this time on the marvellous Cyclene Records, "Canal Seven". As seen on the front page there, Canal Seven is a 30 minute soundscape EP seamlessly mixing electronic ambience, acoustic guitar, spoken samples, field recordings and various other sounds into a unique journey.
A few old pieces made it into the release alongside a chunk of new material. The EP is inspired by The KLF's classic 'Chill Out', The Future Sound of London's 'Environments 1' and The Glimmer Room's 'Grey Mirrors' - a continually changing amorphous soundscape with music, field recordings and samples taking equal precedence in the flow of things.
All comments are welcome as always.  Enjoy!
Drug use for children has for many an education and with obvious alarm to both parents on the increase almost yearly.

A bit of both really, I think. The idea was planned, but a lot of it was sort of finding what fitted with other sections. "I can't follow that with that..." and so on. I've finished another that is a little more 'consistent', perhaps, and that was a lot more planned out. Probably get that out in the summer...
