Made with good ol' Xaos

I find making these theraputic, but is there anything actually good about them?

I find fractals possibly look a bit dated unless they're all fancy and unusual.
EDIT: It's best to get them to show in the large size (in the top right hand cornah)

Nice.
I think Johnny would like this stuff too.

The deep spiral is not only quite striking, but I like the idea of discovering it deep in the set... fractal exploration...

Thanx 4 tha comments. I mean, Thanks for the comments.
BRAH!
Who said that?!
Does anyone ever wonder if maybe you could zoom far enough into a fractal the chaos and other periodic pattern shifting would amount to you seeing different kinds of pictures and patterns?
Probably not, but it's a groovy thought

Maybe if you zoom in 534584797 tetrated to the 34573457397 times you will see yourself looking at a fractal zoomed in 534584797 tetrated to the 34573457397 times looking at yourself looking at a fractal zoomed in 534584797 tetrated to the 34573457397 times looking at yourself looking at a fractal zoomed in 534584797 tetrated to the 34573457397 times looking at yourself looking at a fractal zoomed in 534584797 tetrated to the 34573457397 times looking at yourself looking at a fractal zoomed in 534584797 tetrated to the 34573457397 times looking at yourself looking at a tiny miniture rubber duck in the center of the whole thing.

Very nice... especially liked "x-ray vision" - it reminds me of a dna chain which again reminds me of a cluster of galaxies. I see all that here, the chaos is ordered and beautiful. With your music you usually add quite a bit of intelligence to the chaos and the whole thing just WORKS... you know? Art is great - communicating through art is fantastic.

That's nice of you to say so, icotec. Though for my music I figured everybody knew that I just have a random song generator and hit the big red button each time I want to make a song (especially the drums, I have a dedicated ultra-meta-randomizer for those puppies)

Morning Star's my fav. Even though not too complex, still is impressive in a different light.

Cool. I liked that one for a while. I don't think it's even part of a fractal, but more those coloured fields that radiate from the main fractal when you use certain outcolouring modes (hence the lack of detail).
I was making art with 1D cellular automata last night. In particular I was trying to map one 1D formula (with time on the vertical) until it looped. Basically I was using the Cell program to generate generations 0-2500, 2501-5000, etc, and exporting each 'universe' (as they like to pointedly call them) into paint and pasting them together (like how you'd map a game).
Fun stuff. The end file was 45mb and I couldn't use the scroll bar in paint to scroll down enough to continue. Next time I think I'll lay them out differently to make better use of space. It seems like a long narrow shaft-like image tends to screw Paint up

It's always time to make new art, weather others like it or not.
