After being on ArtistServer for 8 years, I have finally decided to frequent the forums. How is everybody?

Sup! I barely post on the forums, but I've had it set for my home page for YEARS!

Yeah, so I extend my warm greetings to everybody. But I would like to ask everybody a question...it was expressed in another thread that maybe my music (at least my psytrance) is being put in the wrong genre. I has been said that it is "progressive psytrance," which I agree with, but there is no progressive psy genre here, and I don't feel there is a need for one - if I'm the only one needing this then what';s the point? My question is this: does anybody think my music fits better in the progressive trance genre?

Nah, personal opinion is if it's psytrance it better fits with psytrance, even if it's progressive.

My thoughts as well. I see you are from Denver - I've been rather seriously looking at moving there shortly after turn of the year...I have some friends up there and whatnot...

I realize I'm a little late to this party....but wanted to say 'Hey!' anyway. As for the city of Denver, I think it rocks! I almost moved there about ten years ago, and sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I did. The snowboarding in the surrounding areas was unbelievable and downtown Denver is one of the coolest areas I've ever been in.

Yep, ya got me there, Sub. It's amazing how much time it takes to work a job, run a household, be a supporting spouse and raise a child. I haven't had time to check my email in three months and some family members are probably starting to wonder if I've fallen off the edge of the earth....or joined a cult. I guess 'parenthood' is kinda like a cult, in a way. I have certainly changed, but personally, I think it's for the better. I'm tired as all hell, but it's a happy tired...I know I'm blessed.
But I'm still around!

Ya know...I'm still working on finding my balance. Nothing prepares you for this experience, that's for sure. But the last 14 months have truly been amazing! Hopefully, as Gid gets older I will be able to find more time for myself.
Kiss the pups for me!
