Hi, like Big Plans, there are some very familiar samples to me...used in a good way..
A Sense of Wonder sounds a bit overcompressed....

YES... that sounded like Danny K!
Really liked Big Plans - the big bass synth might be a bit loud or needing some EQ to pull it into the mix - but overall, I like it.
I wish i could recognize the piano samples - they work well in the piece. Did you start with these or do you work from beats first?

Hey Gideon -
The samples are mostly just the ones that come with logic! eek!! I wrote it with my girlfriend on Saturday night - its the first track we have written together. Its really good fun writing with non-musicians. I think Lizzie has got a good ear for what to do next.
We started with the little organ line - I put the drums on next - then the bass I think and then finally the latin piano. That was the rough scheme of things. As ABC says - they are rather "out there" samples which I guess is a shame but we were just putting something together for fun and it came out as the best track I've done for quite a while!
I'll have a look at the bass - I seem to have lost the ability to mix! argh....

"a sense of wonder" is my pick for favorite track. The groove is more to my liking so for that.....

So effusive! Keep them coming Jack!! Damn, I really like big plans a bit more... Although sense of w/ has got a great execution with the percussion fills and rythm.
Two thumbs up seriously.

(That means every other time I've said two thumbs up before- I wasn't serious)
Just kiddin of course.

P.S. I can kind of tell which part your girlfriend helped you do. (Flute solo?)

Hey dude - yeah I sort of did this one both before and after Big Plans - had a feeling it wouldn't be as popular but I'm glad you like it.

Lizzie was key at every point really - I did all the programming so I guess the drums are down to me but the flute was her idea yes, so was the cello and they are my 2 favourite bits!
Thanks for listening. Guess we'll have to get on with some more....!!
