I also just bought the Beck album but have not listened yet. Post a picture of your home-made album art.
Also, you ever listen to the Old Canes, Full-Source? I think that's the guy from the Album Leaf, and it's really fantastic.
Earlier this week, all used:
edIT - crying over pros for no reason (I can't shake some annoyance that his editing sounds an awful lot like what I was already doing prior to hearing this). Nuggets: Luke Vibert's Selection (amazing 70s lounge, exotica, and funk instrumentals archived for use as tv background music, and lost to time until now) DJ Shadow - The Outsider (spotty)

Awakenings 2006 Vol 2 & Vol 2.5
Amazing stuff. Mind boggling in spots. John really seems to have a 6th sense for putting together incredible compilations. First-class Electroinca here folks.

I'll have to check out the Old Cranes. I'm a big fan of The Album Leaf.

oops, I just posted in your flickr without realizing. What I said was:
"whoa. I think we got different sticker sets. That's a pretty great touch, having a much larger variety of stickers than any one person recieves. I'll scan mine later..."

Ochre - Lemodie At last. And it's fucking great. Like. Twenty times as good as A Midsummer Nice Dream.

Max Richter - Songs From Before Beautiful, although I really hope he begins to vary his style in the future.
Public Image Limited - Metal Box Classic.
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade Ha, yes, emo. Although this is like a punk version of Pink Floyd's The Wall, so hey.

dreamSTATE :: OM
This is fantastic stuff. Excellent music to kick back and chill out to.
You might remember these guys (ScottM2 and Jamie Todd) from the old MP3.com days. ScottM2 used to hang out (occasionally) at EScene as well. They manage the Ambient Ping shows in Toronto and are a exceptionally talented duo.
Seriously... If you're into true ambient music get this one. I highly recommend it.
