A friend made this for me recently:
http://subtronik.com/
I now have a much easier site to deal with.
He used Aptana to create it:
http://www.aptana.com/
He's going to add flash to it since that's his thing.

Only gripe I have is with the "photos" section.
The idea is to hover over a small pic to see a larger pic, but you have to scroll down to see the larger pic, but when you go to scroll down you have to stop hovering over the smaller pic resulting in the larger pic disappearing when you stop hovering...

And no ceramic cats!?!

Yeah, I fully agree. I plan on asking my friend about the scrolling issue, it's the only thing that doesn't flow well.

Hmm, seems to be an issue in I.E. only.
It works fine in firefox.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll get that fixed asap.

looks good
I think for the photos - the best way to present them is using what's called a "Lightbox" - this is how photos are displayed on ArtistServer - when you click on the small yellowish size buttons - and the page grays down - then the photo loads on top of the site. The scrips for doing this are free - there's around 30 variations out on the Web.

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this post. I really like the look of the site, the colors and feel, especially. I have the same 'gripe' as everyone else, but other than that, it's cool! I want to see more pictures in the photo gallery, though.
Smooth!

Yeah, the photography thing is still going...I just wish I had more time to dedicate to it. I spent most of today driving around trying to find a particular frame for one of my prints. No good. Four shops and no frame. I guess Dad will just have to deal with a print in an envelope for now.
Like I said, post more pics! I love it when you and your wife walk around town and capture interesting images!

Wow! I just stopped by 'Photos' and I'm thinking "Ask and ye shall receive..." Thank you! The New Orleans pictures rock! I love the colors, content and layers. I've never been to New Orleans but it's on my list of dream towns to visit.
Thank you so much for sharing!
