Just interested to know as i only have a free account i only have 6 songs up at any one time. Does that mean that once i delete a song off here i lose that copyright, or am i still covered. Its just something thats been nagging at me ever since Akilo stole/borrowed one of my tunes last year!

When you delete the song, you are simply deleting the published record of the copyright. What ever license you assigned would still carry on, you just wouldn't have an online/public record of it. You can address this simply by creating a page on the site or the Web in general, and list your songs, their license, your info, etc. and state that as the official records.

I'm not an attorney, nor am I well versed in copyright law - so my advice and information here is free and not supported by anything by experience on the Web. If you have serious concerns about the licensing of your music, I'm sure there is more info online or in books relating to music and licensing.

You can always upgrade your account too Smile it's only $40/yr, and it helps me cover the costs in running the site. Cool, right on.
