My first song/mix with the new FL Studio 8 RC 1

Thought I would share a mix I just made using the new FLStudio 8. One of the biggest new feature that I used is the new Limiter (there was already a multichannel compressor, but this an update of the old limiter) Not to mention it seems to behave itself CPU and Memory wise. This was mixed down on my laptop, so I can't wait to get home and see how much more responsive it is on my main system (aka Wintermute Studios)
Well enjoy, comments welcome...

Pros: Pleasant melodies. Good progression. Energetic and upbeat.
Cons: Entire track sounds like it's been run through a lo-fi virtual tube compressor.

heh,
That will teach me to mix without my main cans no worries though, it is probably the new limiter set alittle bit too strong. Even though my laptop is good in most ways, the soundcard needs to be up'd I do apreciate the feedback though Curious, what did you listen on?
Thanks again,
WM

Mackie HR824's.
I guess the bottom line is it's that typical fake tube compression I've heard from FL for years now.

Totally understandable.
Ok updated again, fixed most of what I heard that was wrong (it was waaaay too much bass ) Technically this is mix 10, there are a few new lines and changed voices and the crash at the breaks is gone.

Sounds much better.
That fake back and forth whooshing valve compression sound always ruins it for me.

Is that me, or just what you were talking about with Fruitys virtual tube compressor?
If it is me, can you give me a time window (at least the starting point) so I can hear what you are referring too?
Thank again for the Listens

It's fruity bro, I've heard the same thing for ten years now.
Fruity has always had a signature fake tube valve compression as long as I can remember.
