Beautiful track Glenn -
The voice is excellent and brings a very special, should I say sad, reflecting mood. Chords as usual dreamy and nicely laid out. Wonderful! I love this. Nice little glitch details around as well. The more stringy pads coming in at 0:45 is so Fourier. Are you using your NI package here?
On the downside: WAY too short... I had to repeat it 5-6 times.

Thanks Frode! Yeah I have these 1-2 minute ideas all over the hard drive, and have started trying to stretch them and stitch them together into some kind of weird "album" - progress is slow...
Unlike your progress my man which always amazes me! Such quantity and quality at the same time!
I think the only NI thing on this one was the crackly stuff - some Reaktor instrument. Mostly just the same boring old Virus presets

Hey Glenn, this is Themis.
What a lovely touching piece of sensuous lust!!! Really, this is so... the word beautiful is not enough. Indeed, like Frode said, it could be longer, ever the same all over again but yes, I also play this in repeat for many times. This is my 6th time now. So sublime. It warms my heart up. I like that you play with the sounds all the time. The vocal line is all the time changing. Starts like a baby and ends like a woman voice. Brilliant.
Congratulations for Entranceway! Sych a brilliant touching track...

Hey thanks Themis! You give me inspiration to go and fiddle with it some more. How is life in Greece?
P9 - it's a really old sample CD called "Spices of India".

It's a very interesting way of working. Small snippets of 1-2 minutes, a complete album of 25 tunes. The experience will always change and effortlessly flow over to another level of listening experience. A universe without the Fourier vibes is an empty universe. In that regard, but not limited to; I always wanted to ask what happened to Quadrant? It took me to far places and still do.

Actually my friend, I'm so full of shortcuts (preset abuser?) that you wouldn't believe it. So let's leave it at quantity Wait, the universe is inverting itself! SCHWOP. It's gone. What's gone? I don't know, but I'm still here. What happened?
But seriously it's good to see you back in music making. Been enjoying Entranceway a lot. Also Subtronik, Absurdist tunes rec. This place rocks like ever.

Fourier, absolutetly stunning track. I like that it's strictly ambient, and the voice is very cool. It really progresses from like an infant sound to an adult sound, very moving. What process did you use, was it just a pitch shifter? Which one? ANyways, nice to see that you still make tunes, and that your still posting, very cool! -ERik

Thanks Erik! I guess I have to learn some new artist names! It's the Waves pitch shifter - I drew an envelope in Sonar to automate the formant parameter - so much easier than it used to be a few years ago!
Getting a lot of error messages when I press reply - is that usual?
