How do?
Drug use for children has for many an education and with obvious alarm to both parents on the increase almost yearly.

Haven't visited AS for a few months and haven't done a lot of music.
Having problems on the job, stuff like that...things that can make you feel sooo bad...especially if you can't control everything that's happening....
At this moment I'm trying to get a grip on things and trying to give my life another direction....which isn't always easy, but I'm sure I'm not the only one and you always have to keep on trying I guess.....

you and me both Roland. I'm moving out and I'm not moving in anywhere... 
Starting this month. I put myself in this situation. 
Dog walking isn't cutting it for me and I'm looking to return back to the hourly wage life.

I'll add myself to this growing list of people in similar situations. Not been in work since July, living halfway across the country from my girlfriend, with my parents, hmm.
I have used the chance to do some composing, however. Got a lot of shit down lately, so I suppose it's not all doom and gloom.

So sorry to hear about your troubles, Bit Crusher. I was wondering where you were hiding and hoping all was well. I'm upset to hear that it is not.
Although it is not the most comforting of truths, I know you are aware that you are not alone. Every one of us is either going through it ourselves or knows someone close to us that is. We are all being affected one way or another by this economic mess and global depression. We all need to keep on keepin' on! I'm not blowing sunshine up anyone's ass....I'm in counseling for depression myself right now and have been looking for a new job as the $200 I am bringing in every week just isn't cutting it anymore, ya know? It's a good time to share ideas and reach out and listen and be open minded to all that we can conceive. It is certainly a time of massive change right now, and I guess the trick is to manage to 'ride it out'.
However...I'm all for Kylo's idea of building a paddle-less boat, too. I think I'd like to cover all of my bases. Sorry to hear about the dog walking, Ky. I remember how much our dogs love you and I was really hoping that other pups were going to get to experience that special 'Kylo love'. I guess with money being so tight a lot of folks just can't justify the expense, even if it is for the good of their dogs. So sad. 
It's cool that you came here and shared....thanks! You helped me feel a little better, too. I wish you much good luck!
And Second Thought, it's great to know that you have been constructive with your time. When will we get to hear some of the fruits of this labor?

Well, I gots an EP over in the Music forum that I recorded in December. ;) Have another netlabel thing coming out in the next week, and then I think a CDr release afterwards and some more netlabel things towards the end of the year. And a proper full album having an exciting release that's all secret. It's all very exciting and at least I've got something to show for eight months of tedium.
Still, I need to move up to be with my girlfriend soon as she's going through some shit and it's terrible spending more time apart than together when we're both in bad places (metaphorically. And literally, actually). I've been saving up my benefit money so I can rent a house in Leeds to be near her, and there are more jobs there so I'm applying for stuff now.
I just want a house and some woods nearby and Lucy and some friends in town and a way of bringing in some money. I never thought a simple life would be too much to ask for, ha. But there we go. Maybe in a couple of year's time.

As far as jobs go, things are stable for me at the moment. Can't complain.
As for music, it's been awhile since I finished anything because I've created a lot of starter tracks and have been working on synth videos. I'm about to finish the last video I had planned and will finally get back to music and finishing some of those starter tracks.

As you said, at least you have something to show for the eight months of tedium, and that is a blessing. Great that you have been productive. I do so hope that you and your love can soon be together. That is the saving grace for our family, close and extended...at least we all have each other reasonably close by. It helps in the support and sanity departments. I will keep you in my thoughts. 
And Sub, glad to know things are stable...can't ask for more than that right now! Hug the pups!

As for me...I've started something new, but at this moment I can't tell much about it...for several reasons....
I hate that, having to keep these things for myself, but at this moment that's just the way it is.

I'm working things out. I've got 4 to 5 places to hop to around here until I get a deposit ready to grab another place. Thank you for the offer again-- I love San Diego though... ... 
It seems like I'm going to be hired on with a moving company. I like that kind of work, it gets me moving (pun intended) and I happen to be a natural for carrying drawers full of cloths upstairs. Hopefully I can keep walking some of my dogs though.
Right now's tough though! I'm breaking up with the girlfriend; it's a drag but it's really for the best!!!! We're remaining good friends though. Too many fine lines though!! 
But we're kinda stuck in the same apartment... Like I said earlier, I put myself in this situation.

Well, I finally got some cash the council have owed me for six months so can at least move up to Leeds again to be with my girl and some friends. Moving to the city from the country again is going to be a drag, but hey. I'll have company!
Kylo - good luck man. Your situation sounds like a pain (to say the very least), I'm glad you've got friends to keep you off the streets for a while. Awful to hear about your girlfriend, but sometimes these things have to happen I suppose. Keep us updated!
