Cool tunnel I accidentally came across; and of course had to
go through on my bicycle ride over to Mill Valley for a
casting on some wannabe clothing line. hehe.
It was deep- it was lonesome, and I was all by myself... dead quiet.
Not that it bothered me, but the hum of my tires on the asphalt
was amplified and then my camera batteries died...
Gideon prolly knows where this is...

Nice shot Kylo!!
Cousin of mine has an empty concrete silo on his property that's open at the top and sounds awesome when you amplify sound in it. I've made a few recordings in it. The reverb is really great. And if you climb to the top to listen you get this long drone'd out wash of sound that snakes and bounces its way up the 80 foot chamber.

Truly a fabulous photo, Kylo. I'm sorry your camera battery died because I am sure you wanted to take more pictures. You sure are having a lot of fun and adventures ever since you moved out to San Fran. See? You probably never would have had this much fun in San Diego! But you still need to get your ass out here for a visit...soon!

Bullshit! San Diego would be the bomb-- and from the sounds of it I keep getting more and more reasons to come down again! A few of my co-workers have an extremely large social base down there and I know a carpool is in the question soon enough. The farther south I go the better it gets- ya'll know that.
Frisco's treating me very well though for sure, the cherry blossoms are popping out for spring and I don't freeze at night anymore; hence no more sleeping bag every damn night. ... Maybe that's kind of a tangent?
meh. Well, I look forward to spring no matter where I am I guess. Believe it or not Lou, the last time I talked to you two on the phone was damn near a year ago!! That's right, I'm almost a Californiyay resident!!
It's absolutely amazing... gonna slip back into the school system; which I do miss.

Yeah the tunnel had awesome reverb. In fact I'm tempted to go back and get some noise and upload it to the server for anyone to use.

I know I don't have to tell you this, Kylo...but whenever you do end up down in San Diego you know you have a place to stay. Just be prepared to share your pillow with a pup...they like to snuggle.
