Ugh - teenage literature coming to haunt you

I recently moved into my new flat in Twickenham having moved back from Holland. I didn't time my run well - looks like I have moved back to London in the biggest weed drought this fine city has ever seen. That aside, things have been going well doing all the settling in things you have to do until that is this evening.
My mum and dad had got some stuff of mine up in their loft that they were looking after while I was in Amsterdam. They came up to see the new place with a couple of boxes of stuff - to my horror (and my girlfriend's evident delight as she hasn't stopped reading it since) all my well-meaning, horrific novels that I wrote when I was 12-14.
I fancied myself as a bit of a Dickensian type when I was slightly too hormonal to know what was going to come back and bite me on the arse so I have had to spend the evening cringing - and I mean really cringing whilst rolls around the sofa laughing.
If I ever have a teenager and they start writing poetry or a novel - I am going to tell them do something more productive with their time or else in 15 years an amused partner will recount stuff to you that you really should have burnt in a big fire.
Ho-hum, I think Steven King et al can sleep easier as I certainly am never going to nick his readers. Not on this evidence anyway.

first the drought, then the books!!!!
What were you writing about?
My written dribble is in a single black book - mostly lyrics or poems - if the book didn't have a bunch of history and drawings in it, I'm sure I'd toss it in the fire. It's strange reading your own written words from the past, and recalling how different life seemed at that time.

heh the things i wrote when i was 12..
*a book based on the computer game "Theme Park".. should've been about rollercoasters, but dealt mainly with strange sex and horror.
*a book about Cyprus!! as some of you might know this is a divided island.. a Turkish part and a Greek part..
*a book about a tunnel in Switzerland.. err.. a monster (or SOMETHING) lives in there and it KILLS KILLS KILLS.
