Ricochet 03:46, 5.43mb , 192kbps
Experimental/IDM

Description: A dark feel - a storm of evil passing - a pitch bending texture wash with a crunchy beat covered in reverb and a flitered glitchy sound skips along leaving multiple trails in delay. This track features: my dog Miles playing his collar, myself playing a squeaky floor, and a dozen or so bees in my yard.

Ricochet is also a map for UT2004:
download the map @ UnrealPlayground.com
While it is a 'game map,' it wasn't designed to be played as a level, this is more of an experiment, or an art installation. Download it and get ready to LOL.
Ricochet consists of an array of jump pads organized in a pattern where the bots and players are bounced around from each pad. If you're positioned correctly, and do not run into other players, the pads should carry you up and down the structure.
I find it's best when loaded up with as many bots as your system can handle.
For those who do not have UT2004, all I can say is it's quite funny to see 20+ 3D characters be tossed around in a pattern. Here are some screenshots to give you an idea of what it looks like:

As you can see, it's set within a firey void where there's nothing but these jump pads and some glass walls forming a tube like structure. Down below is lava, rocks, explosions, etc.

keep in mind that it's not a map for 'playing' - it's more of an 'unreal experience' - I'd say the map isn't really possible to play you have little control as the jump pads throw you around.

Although I haven't seen the level yet, I think Ricochet is a great track for most levels..
The right mood, not to hectic like some other tunes that came with the game...I have said this before: there are so many things going on in UT2K4, the music should not be too hectic in my opinion....

yeah - I feel the same, the music for games needs to support the experience, not define it. Unless music is the game
the version in the map is a shorter edit and was made to loop better than the full version. The map is hilarious.

I like the snare in this. Driplets are cool too... As for the map d-load I wish! I want to though- but I'll have an opportunity to get all these files I've been deprived of in a week when I head up north to my bro's place.
