Is anyone in the area? Anyone getting ready to leave? I hear they are talking about evacuating New Orleans. Did they learn something from Katrina or is this just drama? Are they prepared for an evacuation this time? Has FEMA improved thier policies and procedures, or are we going to see a repeat of unorganization and misappropriation?
I'm looking forward to it. I live in west central Florida and absolutely love the heavy rains and high winds hurricanes bring. It always feels like the end of the world when even a small one comes through.
